This is a focused working session for farmers, growers, and small producers who want to translate what they’ve cultivated into products people understand, trust, and choose—on a shelf, at a market, or online.
Led by Silverbrook Manor's Mindy Yang, this session draws on years of experience designing products, packaging, and sensory systems for global brands, hospitality groups, and emerging producers.
What We Cover
How to position your product so it reads clearly (and sells)
Packaging that protects, preserves, and elevates—not overcomplicates.
Label language: what to say, what to avoid, what actually matters.
Pricing architecture that reflects your work and your market.
Turning raw ingredients into cohesive, desirable product lines.
Avoiding common mistakes that quietly kill good products.
Format:
A small-group workshop or 1:1 working session. Bring your product, your questions, your half-formed ideas—we’ll shape them in real time. You’ll leave with a clear direction, practical next steps, and a sharper point of view on how your product lives in the world.
Who It’s For:
Farmers, growers, and makers who are ready to move beyond “just selling” and into building something intentional.
Alternate format options are available:
Group Workshop (at Silverbrook Manor): Seasonal sessions, limited seats
Private Intensive: 90-minute deep dive tailored to your product
Zoom Workshop: Monthly session, limited seats
On-Farm Advisory: By request, for more complex product lines.

At Silverbrook Manor, we step into that window together.
We’ll walk the land and learn to recognize what’s rising now—wild onions, garlic, and tender nettles—plants that have fed people quietly for generations. You’ll harvest your own bundle, guided by season, intuition, and respect for the land.
We return for light refreshments and a shared recipe exchange—simple, social, and designed to carry the experience forward into your own kitchen.

A walk through Silverbrook’s aromatic fields becomes a botanical study you can hold.
Harvest & Blend is a small agricultural workshop exploring how aromatic plants grown at Silverbrook Manor can inspire and inform fragrance development.
Led by Silverbrook’s Proprietress and sensory designer Mindy Yang, guests begin with a guided crop walk through the farm’s managed meadows, gardens and growing areas. Along the way, participants will observe seasonal herbs and flowers, examine their aromatic qualities and learn how growing conditions, harvest timing and preservation influence scent.
Selected Silverbrook botanicals will be responsibly harvested for evaluation. The group will then move into the farm’s botanical product-development workspace, where Mindy will demonstrate how the aroma of a crop is documented and translated into a fragrance concept.
Using Silverbrook-grown botanicals as the creative and sensory foundation, each participant will compose a small aromatic study to take home. Seasonal botanical bundles and other Silverbrook farm products will also be available for purchase.
Featured plants and materials will vary with the farm’s harvest.
This agricultural program is hosted to demonstrate, promote and support the development of aromatic crops grown at Silverbrook Manor.
Join the proprietors of Silverbrook Manor for an intimate guided tour of their regenerative research farm, an unfolding landscape shaped by season, soil, and slow intention.
It's a chance to walk the grounds with us, to understand what is being grown here, both in the earth and beyond it.
Guests will be led through the property, with reflections on our regenerative approach and the experiences taking form for the season ahead.
We will introduce the Silverbrook Farm Club, our membership offering first access to PYO produce, private gatherings, including Forage & Blend, sensory training and wellness programs, forest bath & tea sessions, planting days, and seasonal salons designed around the rhythm of the land.
This event is FREE for Silverbrook Manor Farm Club members. Those who join us as members will receive a welcome gift from the farm through July, a small gesture to mark the beginning.
