A Managed Grazing Walk at Silverbrook Manor
Walk alongside Silverbrook’s goats and learn how they contribute to the care of our working regenerative farm.
During this approximately 1.5-mile guided agricultural walk, guests accompany the herd through selected woodland edges, hills and managed growing areas. Along the way, we’ll demonstrate how goats browse vegetation and explain the daily work involved in raising and managing livestock at Silverbrook.
Guests will learn about:
Goat behavior and herd movement
Feed, forage and seasonal browsing
Fencing and predator protection
Hoof care and basic husbandry
Manure, nutrient cycling and land management
The role of livestock within a regenerative farm system
The walk concludes at the farm market, where current Silverbrook-grown and produced agricultural products will be available for purchase.

Please wear sturdy, closed-toe walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Participants must be comfortable navigating hills, forest paths and uneven terrain.
