Inside every faded marigold is the beginning of another field.

Join us as we collect mature seed heads from Silverbrook’s African marigolds, separate the seeds and evaluate them for next year’s crop. Participants will help clean, count, label and store seed while learning how crop selection influences color, vigor and continuity from one season to the next.

A portion of the seed will return to Silverbrook’s fields. Members may take home a small labeled packet to grow.

Registration

• Silverbrook Farm Club members: Included with membership

• General admission: $35

• Seniors ages 65+, students and children ages 6–15: $20

• Children under 6: Free with a registered adult; individual workshop materials are not included

Each participating registration includes one small packet of Silverbrook marigold seed, subject to the season’s harvest.

Guests under 16 must remain accompanied and supervised by a registered adult throughout the program. Because this is a working farm, all participants must follow staff instructions and remain within designated activity areas.

Advance registration is required. Farm Club members should cancel at least 24 hours in advance if unable to attend so the limited space can be offered to another member.
